There is a lot of interest in this huckleberry’s root base or nebari. It almost looks like it is crawling across the ground.
Sometimes called “Huckleberry”, Vaccinium is a native blueberry to the southern States. It is semi-deciduous tree like shrub and produces edible berries that harden off in late spring. Huckleberry grow best in partial shade and their zone is 5-9.
